风起云涌的20世纪70年代前后，大洋的另一面，人类实现首次登月。而在地球的这一边，日本国内学生运动此起彼伏，方兴未艾。心中仍有一团烈火的青年记者泽田（妻夫木聪 饰）注视着前辈与后辈同学们的“壮举”，内心百感交集。在记者前辈中平的介绍下，泽田拟对自称梅山的青年活动家（松山研一 饰）进行独家报道。梅山满口远大理想，天花乱坠，事后虽有中平的告诫提醒，可是泽田仍不由自主地去相信梅山的革命设想。在此期间，他识破了梅山的一些谎言，也觑见了其组织不切实际的一面。然而梅山就有如病毒一般，不仅将泽田，乃至他的战友、伙伴全部带入万劫不复的深渊…… 本片根据川本三郎的同名报告文学改编，并荣获2011年电影旬报十佳第九名。。A lonely tow-truck driver gets caught in a deadly struggle between a pair of bank robbers with a beautiful hostage, local cops, and a monster that has come down from the Arizona mountains to eat human flesh.
