During the cold and rainy off-season a man arrives in a seaside town and, giving his name only as Pierre, checks into the only hotel which remains open. His arrival arouses curiosity and a degree of suspicion, as people note that he appears to know the area, yet gives no explanation for his presence at that bleak time of year in the dead-end town.。利用动画形式，生动演绎上海世博会“城市，让生活更美好”的主题，《海宝来了》采用二维制作手段，并通过二段式结构：一段故事剧集加一段世博知识贴士，将故事的可看性、知识性和趣味性相融合。上海世博会形象大使――成龙、姚明、郎朗，应邀化身为卡通形象惊喜登场。。
