蒲公英中学是北京市第一所专门为进城务工者的子女创办的中学。袁小燕老师已经在这所学校的合唱团工作了八年。每年新生入学的时候，她都要选一批热爱音乐、基础条件好的初一学生加入合唱团。随着北京大兴国际机场的建设，这座最初建立在废弃车间里的初中将搬到新建的现代校舍。在老校区的最后一年里，合唱团迎来了新一批孩子，而升入初二的团员们则需要和家人面对未来的选择。对于合唱团的孩子们来说，初中生涯终将会被升学的压力和离别的无奈所中止。在这段与音乐为伴的人生旅程中，他们一直品尝着属于青春岁月的苦乐悲喜，将它们深埋心底，转化为成长的养分。。An extended family split up in France and Germany find themselves on opposing sides of the battlefield during World War I.。World War I is coming to its end.
