落拓的周刊杂志记者榎木田辗转来到一间伫立在大山深处的咖啡店。据说许多到访过这里的客人都接二连三消失，嗅觉敏锐的榎木田认定咖啡店的背后藏有巨大的秘密，于是不远万里追踪而至。女主人真理子（关惠美饰）热情温柔，然而偶尔又会闪现出落寞阴郁的神情。榎木田假扮成客人，向店内的常客打听消息。常客中有体质变弱的健美选手松浦（角田信朗饰）、逃婚而来的飞鸟（市川由衣饰）、在头脑中规划着无差别杀人计划的卓（藤原薰饰）。随着调查的深入，榎木田发现真理子似乎四处延揽有自杀倾向的人。自杀者手持玫瑰作为接头暗号，经由女老板引领来到咖啡店的二楼。真理子会交给对方一个信封协助他们自杀，而交换条件却令人万万也想象不到……。西北大漠，边关小镇野山关，一座破败的山庄羊庄。由于马匪经常来骚扰山庄，村民深受其害，全村人经商议后决定派草根（邱林饰）和范见（罗家英饰）去镇上请刀客来保护羊庄。四处碰壁的草根和范见在走投无路下，遇见了落魄的老刀客孤独求败（梁家仁饰）。退隐江湖多年的孤独求败在草根和范见的祈求下，答应去救羊庄，但需要再找两位刀客作为帮手。于是，瘸腿的失意刀客鬼脚六（李彧饰）与初出茅庐的年轻刀客苏盖儿（释小龙饰）加入了拯救羊庄的队伍，三人向着羊庄进发了。 由著名导演袁鸿冰执导的武侠喜剧电影《刀客外传》，演员阵容别具一格，“超女”何洁与“功夫小子”释小龙分饰男女主角，罗家英、梁家仁、李彧等影视老将甘当配角绿叶，更有众多网络歌手纷纷上阵友情出演。。Greece, in the 1920's, is occupied by the Turks. The country is in turmoil with entire villages uprooted. The site of the movie is a Greek village that conducts a passion play each year. The leading citizens of the town, under the auspices of the Patriarch, choose those that will play the parts in the Passion. A stuttering shepherd is chosen to play Jesus. The town butcher (who wanted to be Jesus) is chosen as Judas. The town prostitute is chosen as Mary Magdalene. The rest of the disciples are also chosen. As the movie unfolds, the Passion Play becomes a reality. A group of villagers, uprooted by the war and impoverished, arrive at the village led by their priest. The wealthier citizens of the town want nothing with these people and manipulate a massacre. In the context of the 1920's each of the characters plays out their biblical role in actuality.。
