小男孩没事（孙天宇 饰）跟养父罗秉文（黄磊 饰）相依为命。5岁时，没事语出惊人，说自己来自火星人，令其父很是无奈。罗秉文为某公司高级白领，风骚同事Tina（谢娜 饰）暗恋着他，不但暗送秋波还激情示爱，但均被罗秉文婉言谢绝。倒是顶头上司陆小凤（刘仪伟 饰）对她情有独钟。罗秉文喜欢的是没事的幼儿园老师陈雨（关悦 饰）。不过，没事整天闯祸，搞得两人焦头烂额，大家都开始相信没事是个火星人。财神（王晶 饰）跟陆小凤谈生意，其实另有图谋。他想骗钱十万，用于股市救急，没成想东窗事发。此时，没事离家出走，陆小凤和Tina刚找到他，就被财神一伙绑架了。财神发现了没事具有超能力的秘密，而罗秉文等人则要维护正义，一场对决就此展开……。WALKING AGAINST THE RAIN tells the story of two strangers, Blair and Tommy who are navigating their way across a barren landscape in a desperate attempt to find each other.
