Requiem is set in 1605, against the backdrop of the witch trials. It's a coming of age story, following Evelyn as she engages in a game of cat and mouse against her father, Minister Gilbert, in order to be with Mary, the woman she loves.。讲述两个跟随父母在深圳打工的女孩追求芭蕾梦想的故事。她们所在的城中村有一所教授芭蕾舞的学校，校方对打工子弟免费提供舞蹈教育，孩子们在练功房挥洒汗水，希望舞蹈能改变自己的命运，但最终，她们并没有被专业艺校选中，失落之余，她们反而体会到舞蹈带给她们的快乐。。
