What's interesting is the way Saura makes us care about these "hijos de nadie", who are kind and decent people 50% of the time, and feel they have no future in regular society. But the movie never sentimentalizes them - they do exactly what you'd expect such people to do.。一辆长途客车上，田虹趁旁边的妇女熟睡之时，偷了她的蛇皮袋，袋里有三万多现金、一些单据和一张诊断证明。定睛一看，病人只有九岁，但和自己去世的父亲得的是同样的病。自己偷的竟然是别人的救命钱，她陷入了深深的矛盾和自责中。。
