好赌波夜总会主音吉他手阿发荷包羞涩，赌马去财，房租拖欠，还被夜总会赶了出来。在无处可睡的情形下，他和好友阿财借宿女友家，偶然间却目睹了机械手臂的黑帮头目油炸螃蟹屠杀对手沙皮狗的场面。 阿发凭借小聪明暂时躲过油炸螃蟹的毒手，但却无法逃脱被追击的厄运。万般无奈之下，他男扮女装加入阿财负责的欢乐女子乐队，并随团远赴泰国演出。途中他邂逅了乐队主唱叮叮但由于油炸螃蟹派出的杀手存在，这段旅程不光充满浪漫，还满是惊险……。南方炎热的夏日夜晚，年轻的王学明（彭于晏 饰）遭遇了一起意外。梁妈（张艾嘉 饰）的老公忽然失踪，她寻求陈警官的帮助，却不知自己已成为别人的下一个“目标”。陈警官（王砚辉 饰）负责老梁失踪案，他发现案情的发展远超自己掌控。这群不知命运已被悄然更改的人，都在试图窥视关于那个夜晚的真相，但这个夏夜的记忆如错乱的拼图，愈加扑朔迷离……。Misrepresented, maligned and on the verge of extinction, the great white shark is an iconic predator: the creature we love to fear.
