下岗女工郑雨岚的丈夫成秋实在海滨同经理杜马克游泳时，突遇风浪。在救起杜马克和两名女青年后，自己不幸遇难。成秋实的父亲患重病住院，急需治疗费，经济拮据的郑雨岚无奈之下向杜马克提出借款五千元。雨岚的嫂子陆雯丽，则想借成秋实救人一事，让杜马克的父亲--省监狱局局长提前释放自己的丈夫。杜马克的母亲对成家非常感激，但当雨岚借钱，陆雯丽提出回报条件时，她产生了误解。为了杜绝成家以后的“敲诈”，她与丈夫的手下秦汉皎商议出了一记“高招”：推翻原有事实，将杜马克塑造成为救人英雄，而将成秋实说成是不幸的溺水者。雨岚听说后，惊愕万分。成秋实的妹妹成诺是一名记者，她和嫂子决心为死了的亲人正名，讨回一个公道。美丽的谎言，给杜马克带来了巨大的实惠，使他的生意火爆，甚至一家外国大公司也看中他的品格，选他做代理商。秦汉皎抓住陆雯丽急于让丈夫出狱的心理威逼她写了一份不利于雨岚的证词，...。Dennis Allan is an scientist who visits Haiti on the strength of a rumour of a drug which renders the recipient totally paralyzed but conscious. I went to theater to see some mind-blowing action. I was hoping that Åke Lindman had made something spectacular as his last movie. I also believed in his directing talents. Now I sadly have to say that the movie didn't fulfill my expectations. The movie was a bit bouncing: Going there, doing that, coming ...。
