The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。李勇是李家庄一名村医，医术高超，却没有行医资格证，他给村民打欠条治病，村民欠了他很多钱，因此李勇的老婆也跟他离婚，他为了争夺孩子抚养权，去找村民要村民还钱，可是村民不仅不还钱，举报了李勇，李勇被判非法行医，判决20年有期徒刑。。三对情侣来到野外一起出游，天黑之后，他们决定在森林裡扎营。玛塔却显得忧心忡忡，她幼时曾经听说一段关于这座森林裡的女妖传说，女妖原本是天真善良、一心憧憬爱情的少女，却被男孩玩弄，骗到树林裡惨遭轮暴。最后不慎失足跌入谷底，充满怨念的她于是变成女妖，将所有恶男变成野兽作为惩罚，而她立下律法，任何男人不得踏进她的森林。这一晚，她幻化成妖豔的女子，引诱这些误闯森林的年轻男子，唯有真爱才能打破女巫的诅咒……。
