《封神劫》以宋代为背景，描写为争夺权位而不择手段的人性丑恶面貌，剧力迫人，更有影坛巨星刘永、刘雪华、赵国及莫少聪等坐镇。故事讲述宋太祖赵匡胤（王戎饰）之弟光义（赵国饰）恃建国有功，嚣张跋扈，逼杀南唐后主李煜（陈家奇饰），李之旧部李浪（刘永饰）矢誓报仇……。The movie will feature the family of Mohanlal's character Georgekutty and so they will be reprising their roles. The rest of the cast though will change, and we are sorting out the other aspects including casting right now.。
